NEW: Feeding the World

Economist Conferences are launching an inaugural Feeding the World summit, to deliver fresh insight into solving the critical food challenges. Gathering progressive experts from the fields of agribusiness, policy,international agencies, science and the NGO community, participants will be able to participate in panel debates and discussions, led by editors from The Economist Group.

Food Secure Arab World: A Roadmap for Policy and Research

The conference, organized by the International Food Policy Research Institute and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia, will feature presentations by leading thinkers in the fields that comprise food security—including economics, agriculture, water, trade, health, and nutrition—in addition to sessions on lessons learned from existing country development strategies. There will be a priority-setting session using digital voting technology, public discussion, and opportunities for participants to connect with people who are similarly committed to sustainably ending food insecurity and poverty in the Arab world. Expected outcomes include a declaration on the principles for food security in the Arab world and a roadmap of ways to implement the recommended actions.

International Conference on Climate Change and Food Security

This conference will provide a forum for leading international scientists and young researchers to present their latest research findings, exchange their research ideas and share their experiences in climate change and food security studies.
