The University of the French Antilles and Guyana is organizing an interdisciplinary conference with the purpose of creating a meeting point for research specialists doing research on the process of 'patrimonialization of heritage' in relation to the construction and development of the insular and continental territories of the Americas and the Caribbean.

Science Centre in Promoting a Knowledge and Innovative Society for Sustained and Responsible Growth in Developing Countries

What migration for which development in Africa?

The Applied Economic Research Center for Development (CREAD) of the University of Bouzaréah in Algeria is hosting a meeting on migration and development in an attempt to map the various forms and impacts of migration in an African context. The meeting will focus on all aspects of scientific approaches and academic products in a necessarily interdisciplinary outlook. In relation hereto a call has been issued for papers. Themes include a.o. economic development, governance, labour and trade, the economic crisis.

5th Nolan Conference organised by the Nordic Latin American Research Network.
