DDRN activities - Newsletters

Every month, DDRN sends a newsletter to all network members to keep them updated on activities of the network as well as news within the research fields and areas of work covered by the network.

The newsletters contain all new items posted on the website since the previous letter. All members receive news regarding DDRN activities and general news. Since April 2009 all members receive a monthly newsletter on the multi-disciplinary focal themes of DDRN:

• Climate change
• Food security
• Research communication

Furthermore, members receive monthly newsletters within their themes of interest among the following:

• Agricultural production
• Natural resource management and biodiversity
• Urban and industrial management
• Public administration, democracy and human rights
• Trade, private sector and economic development
• Student news

When updating your member profile, you can select one or more of the above categories and you will receive a monthly newsletter for each chosen category in addition to the general newsletter.

Besides sending monthly newsletters, DDRN also disseminates information via newsmail on singular issues which because of imminent deadline or immediate relevance can not be posted in the monthly newsletters. This news will be sent based on selected thematic area and geographic region of interest and/or language.

News on the website is posted regurarily and members are welcome to send information on evetns, research papers, funding schemes etc. which they want to share within the network. Just send an e-mail to Marianne Forti at maf@ddrn.dk with the title: “Item for DDRN newsletter/website”. Thanks!
