Workshops, seminars and conferences

DDRN supports workshops, seminars and conferences. Activities can focus on a single discipline or have a cross-cutting theme. Individual applicants are encouraged to cooperate with other members of the network to obtain assistance and feed-back.

CONDITIONS:

• The target group must represent more than a single stakeholder (e.g. research communities in Denmark and the South, development agencies/workers, NGOs, private sector)
• For events in the South, Danish partners (e.g. researchers, consulting firms, and embassy or programme staff) must be included as members of the planning group and/or as active participants
• Participation in all DDRN funded events must be open
• The event programme/announcement must be submitted to DDRN in due time for announcement on DDRN’s website
• In all event documents to be disseminated, the organisers must make explicit that the event is financially supported by DDRN
• DDRN must be presented at the event and DDRN information material distributed
• Members receiving funding are responsible for the organisation, accounting, and reporting of the event, incl. elaboration of concept note, programme, budget, and logistics
• Any changes to the event described in the application (e.g. changes in programme or budget) must be communicated to DDRN in advance
• Any delays in the schedule provided in the application must be communicated to DDRN in advance
• The event must be held before the deadline specified

Grant ceiling: DKK 30,000
